RESOLUTION NO. 2056
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OOUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO
ESTABLISHING PREVAILING WAGE SCALE.
RENOLVED by the Cith Council of the City of South San Francisco,
California, that
WHEREAS C.E.R~DLETT, the engineer appointed by said City
Council for the project of improving that portion of the industrial area
of the City of South San Francisco lying, generally speaking, in the
vicinity of Freeway Street and South Airport Boulevard, has ascertgined
the general prevailing rate of perdiem wages in the locality in which
public work is proposed to be performed f~r work of a similar character
to that described in Resolution on Intention No. 2054 _ adopted on
the 30th day of August,1954,; and
WHEREAS THI~ flity Council has duly considered said scale and finds
the same to be correct in all particulars;
NOW,THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY FOUND,DETE~'~NED, AND ORDERED
as follows:
1. That said wage scale as set forth in the specifications is
hereby adopted as the prevailing rate of Der'diem wages for work of a
similar character to that above described in the locality in which such
public work is proposed to be performed.
2. That not less than said general pr~vailing rate of per diem
wages shall be paid for any mork proposed to be performed under said
Res61ution of Intention.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly
and regularly adopted by the City Counci$ of the City of
South San Francisco at an adjourned .meeting thereof held
on rte 30th day of Aug~st,1954, by the following vote:
ANES, Councilmen Francis Lucchio, Emilio Cortesi, Telford Smith.
