A ~'RBSOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO ACKNOWLEDGING MERITOR-
IOUS SERVICES RENDERED TO SAID CITY BY VICTOR
ROSA, JR. WHILE SERVING AS A ~EMBER OF THE
PLANNING COMMISSION OF SAID CITY.
P~EREAS the City Council of the City of South San Francisco
did, on the 7th day of July,1952, appoint Victor Rosa,Jr. as a member
of the Plan ning CoMmission of said City, on which Commission he served
as a member until the 28th day of August,1954; and
WHERBA8 said VICTOR ROSA,JR.~ did serve said City of
South San Francisco, and the people thereof, honorably and well
during all the time while he was a member of its Planning Commission;
and
WHEREAS, aS a ~ubti¢ ~ffi~ial,~°f said ~City, he did always
conduct himself with the utmost loyalty, faithfulness, and competence;
and
WHEREAS said VICTOR ROSA,JR.,as a loyal and f~ithful
public servant, contributed greatly, by untiring efforts to the
upbuilding and improvement of the City of South San F~ancisco,
which made great growth and tremendous progress during the time
when he was serving as a member of the Planning Commission of said
City,
NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of South San Fr.ancisco that this City Council does hereby
extend to VICTOR ROSA,JR. its sincere appreciation forhis services
to said City of South San Francisco, and the people thereof, and
said City Council also does hereby express to h~ their very
highest commendation for the manner in which he has fulfilled
the duties of the public office held by him.
BE IT FURTHER ~OLVED that this Resolution be spread
upon the 8fficial A~inutes of the City Council and that a Certificate
of Merit be presented to said VICTOR ROSA,JR., together with a
certified copy of this Resolution.

Resolution was regularly introduced and
Zdopted by the City Council of the City
of South San Francisco at a regular meeting
held on the 20th dsy of September,1954 by
the following vote;
AYES, Councilmen
Andrew Rocca, Francis Lucchio, Telford Smith,
Emilio Cortesi,Richard Gamlen.
