SAil FRANCISCO ACKNO~fLEDGING IrzZRITORIOUS SERVICES RENDERED
TO SAID CITY BY LA~f2ZHCE CLiVOTTI ?~IZLE SERVING AS A
~MBER .OF THE POLICE DEPAR%~,~NT CF SAID CITY.
!'~IEREAS LALqtEi~CE 0LIVOTTI did successfully complete the Civil Service
Examination for the position of policeman in the Police Department of the City
of South San F~ancisco and ~¢as thereafter appointed by the City Council as a member
of said Police Department, which appointment became effective as of the 1st day
of September, 19~, on which date he co~%menced service as a member of said Police
Department; and
%~EREAS said LA?fllENCE OLIVOTTI did honorgbly and efficiently serve said
City of South San F~ancisco, and the people thereof, as a member of the said
Police De~rtment from the time of his si~ointment to and including the 15th day
of September, 195~; and

with the utmost loyalty, faithfu~es~., and competence; and
~'fHEREAS said LAT~NCE OLIVOTTI, as a loyal and faithfB1 public servant,
contributed greatly, by untiring efforts to the upbuilding, improvement, and
efficiency of said Police Department of said City of South San Francisco,
NOir, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
South San Francisco that this City Council does hereby extend to LAWPd~NCE
OLIVOTTI its sincere 'appreciation for his services to said City of ~outh San
F '
rancmsco, and the people thereof, and said City Council does hereby express
to him their very high~st commendation for the manner in which he has ful-
filled the duties of a member of the F. olice Department of said City.
BE IT FURTHER RmoOLVED that th%s resolution be spread upon the
Official ~.[inutes of the Ci'ty Council and that a certificate of merit be presented
to said LKi"~ENCE OLIVOTTI, together with a certified copy of this resolution.

introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San
