A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN
FRANCISCO DECLARING ITS INTHNTION TO VACATE ALL PUBLIC
STREETS, WAYS, ~2~D EASH~TENTS W~ICH Wt~ItE DEDICATED TO THE
CITY OF SOT~H SAN FRANCISCO AND WHICH ARE DELINEATED ON A
P~RTICULAR PORTION OF THAT CERTAIN ~AP ENTITLED "RANCHO
BURI BURI MAP NO. 3, SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, SAN MATEO COUNTY,
CALIFORNIA", RECORDED IN VOLUME 40, OFFICIAL RECORDS OF
-SAN MATEO COUNTY, PAGES ~ and 8.
Good and sufficient cause appearing,
IT IS HERF2~Y RESOLVED by the city Council of the City of South San Francisco,
a municipal corporation in the County of San Mateo, State of California, as follows:
Section 1. It is the intention of said City Csu~cit" tO:-'order th~..vacation and
abandonment of all the public streets, ways, and easements which were dedicated to the City
of South San Francisco by delineation on a portion of that certain map entitled "RANCHO
BURI BURI ~&AP NO. 3, SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, SAN ~TEO COUNTY, CALIFORNIA", which map was
recorded in the office of the Recorder of San ~ateo County on the 8th day of September,
1954, in Volume ~0 of the Official Records of said County, pages V and 8, the area comprising
the particular portion of said map being particularly described as follows:
All that certain property situate in the City of South San Francisco, County of
San Mateo, State of California, described as follows:
BEGINNING at the most Northerly comer of Lot 51, Block 35 of said Ra~ch~
Burl Burl Map No. 3; thence Southwesterly along the Northwesterly line of
said Lot 51 and its Southwesterly prolongation to the center line of
Escanyo Drive; thence Northwesterly along the center line of Escanyo Drive
to its intersection with the Northeasterly prolongation of the Northwesterly
line of Lot 6, Block 36 of said Rancho Buri Butt Map No. 3, thence South-
Westerly along said Northwesterly lf.ne and its Northeasterly prolongation to
the most Westerly corner of said Lot 6, thence Northwesterly along the
Northeasterly line of Lot 19 of said Block 36 to the most Northerly corner
of said Lot 19; thence Southwesterly along the Northwesterly line of said
lot 19 and its Southwesterly prolongation to the center line of Berenda
Drive'to its intersection with the Northeasterly prolongation of the North-
westerly line of Lot 6, Block 3V of said Rancho Burl Buff Map No. 3; thence
Southwesterly along said Northwesterly line and its Northeasterly prolong-
ation to the most Westerly corner of said lot 6; thence Northwesterly along
the Northeasterly line of Lot 19 of said Block 37 to the most Northerly
corner of said Eot 19; thence Southwesterly along the Northwesterly line
of said Lot 19 and its Southwesterly prolongation to the center line of
Casey Drive; thence Northwesterly along s aid center line of Casey Drive to
its intersection with the Northeasterly prolongation of the Northwesterly
line of Lot 4, Block 38 of said Rancho Burl Burl Map No. 3; thence South-
westerly along said Nortlmvesterly line of Lot 4 and its Northeasterly
prolongation and the Northwesterly line of Lets 6, 7, 8, 9, ll, 12 and 13
of said Block 38 and its Southwesterly prolongation to the center line of
Alta Meaa Drive; thence Southeasterly along said center line of Alta Mesa
Drive to its intersection with the Northeasterly prolongation of the North-
westerly line of Lot 29, Block 33 of said Rancho Burl Burl Map No. 3; thence
Southwesterly along the Northwesterly line of said Lot 29 and its Northeast-
erly prolongation to the most Westerly corner of said Lot 29; thence North-
westerly and Northeasterly along the Westerly and Northwesterly line of said
Block 33 and the Northwesterly line of Block 32 of said Rancho Burl Burl Map
No. 3 to the most Northerly corner of Lot I of said Block 32; thence in a
general Southerly direction along the Easterly line of said Rancho Burl Buri
Map No. 3 to the point of beginning.

Section 2. Said City Council hereby fixes Monday, the 4th day of April, 1955, at
the hour of 8:00 o'clock P.~., in the City Hall of said City of South San Francisco, County
of San ~ateo, State of California, as the t~e and place for hearing all persons interested
'in, or objecting to, the Vacation of said public streets, ways, and easements.
Section 3. Notices of the passage of this resolution of intention, givihg the time
and place of hearing thereon, shall be conspicuously posted along the lines of said public
streets for at least ten ~10) days prior to said~ hearirg~ and not more than three hundred
~300) feet in distance apart, and not less than three (3) in all.
Section 4. The action hereby taken by said City Council is in pursuance to that
certain act of the Legislature of the State of California known as the "Street Vacation Act
of 1941", t.he same being Division ~, Part 3, of tt~ Streets and Highways Code of the State
of California.
Section 5. This resolution of intention shall be published once.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and adopted
by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held on the 7th
day of March, 1955, by the following vote:
AYES, Councilmen:
Andrew Rocca, Francis ~Luc chio, Emilio Cortesi, Richard Ga~le n, and
Telfo rd Smith.
NOES, " None
