A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ,.~')~H SAN FRANCISCO
REQUESTING THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF TT~ COUNTY 0F SAN ~ATE0 TO
'CANCEL REAL PROPERTY TAXES ASSESSED AGAINST CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
~.ACQUIRED BY SAID CITY AND USED SOLELY FOR ~,IUNICIPAL PURPOSES.
?~r2~REAS, on the 2nd day of June, 1954, the City of South San Francisco acquired
for peEnanent public use as a park and recreational area the real property hereinafter
described, which property is presently being held and utilized by said City for such public
purposes; and
WHEREAS, as of th~e~ 1st day of March, 1.o54, San Mateo CountY and school district

becam~ ~a"li~en upon said property; and
WHEREAS,~ because such property was acquired for municipal purposes, as afore-
said, and is now being so used, it is deemed to be in the best interests of the City of
South San Francisco and of the citizens and taxpayers thereof that said real property
taxes, together with any and all accrued penalties and interest, should be cancelled
in full,
NOW, THE~FORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco that the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo be, and it hereby is,
requested to cancel all real property taxes, together with any and all accrued penalties
and interest, levied against said real property, which is situate in the City of South
San Francisco, County of San ~ateo, and is particularly described as follows:
Lot ~ in Block 29, as shown upon that certain map entitled "Winston I~anor
No. ~", which map was filed of record in the O~?fice of the Recorder of
San Mateo County on September 15, 1052, in Volume Z5 of Maps, at pages
$9 and 40.
BE IT FURT~R RESOLVED that said Board of Supervisors be, and it hereby is,
requested to direct the Assesso~~ ox' said County of San ~ateo to remove said real property
from the official tax and assesmN~ent rols of said County. In this connection, the City
Clerk is hereby instructed to forward to said Board of Supervisors a certified copy of
this resolution.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resol~tion was regularly introduced and
adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting
held on the 21st day of ~arch, la55, by the following vote:
