W~{ERE&S ~he City Council of the city of South San Francisco did, on the 7th day
of March, LnSS, adopt a resolution delcaring its intention to order~the vacation and aban-
donment of all the public streets, ways, and easements which were dedicated to the City of
South San Francisco by delineation on a portion of that certain map entitled "RANCHO BURI
BURI MAP NO. 3, SOUTH SAH FRA~CISC0, SAN MATE0 COUNTY, CALIFORNIA", which map was recorded
in the office of the Recorder of San Mateo County on the ~th day of September, 1954, in
Volume 40 of Official Records of said County, pages ? and 8, the area comprising the particular
portion of said map being particularly described as follows:
All that certain property situate in the City of South San Francisco, County of
San Mateo, State of California, described as follows:
BEGINNING at the most Northerly corner of Lot 51, block 35 of said Rancho
Burl Buri Map No. 3; thence Southwesterly along ~he Northwesterly line of
said Lot 51 and its Southwesterly prolongation to the center line of
Escanyo Drive; thence Northwesterly aloes the center line of Escanyo Drive
to its intersection with the Northeasterly prolongation of the Northwesterly
line of Lot 6, Block 36 of' said Rancho Euri Burl Map No. 3; thence South-
westerly a~ong said Northwesterly line and its Northeasterly prolongation
to the most Westerly corner of said Lot 6; thence Northwesterly along the
Northeasterly line of Lot 19 of said Block 36 to the most Northerly corner
of said Lot lg; thence Southwesterly along the Northwesterly line of said
Lot 19 and its Southwesterly prolongation to the center line of Berenda
D:ive; thence Northwesterly along said center line of Berenda Drive to its
intersection with the Northeasterly prolongation of the Nortt~resterly line
of Lot 6, Block 37 of said Rancho Burl Buri ~sp No. 3; thence South.~est~rly
along said Northwesterly line and its Northeasterly prolongation to the
most Westerly corner of said Lot 6; thence Northwesterly along the North-
easterly line of Lot 19 of said Block 37 to the most Northerly corner of
Lot 19; thence Southwesterly along the Northwesterly line of Said Lot 19
and its Southwesterly prolongation to the center line of Casey Drive thence
Northwesterly along said center line of Casey Drive to its intersection
with the Northeasterly prolongation of the Northwesterly lir~ of Lot ~,
Block 38 of said Rancho Burl Burl Map No. 3; thence Southwesterly along
said Northwesterly line of Lot 4 and its Northeasterly prolongation and the
Nortt~esterly line of Lots 6, 7, 8, 9, 11, 12 and 13 of said Block 38 and
its Southwesterly prolongation to the center line of Alta Mesa Drive; thence
Southeasterly along said center line of Alta Mesa Drive to its intersection
'with the Northeasterly p~longation of the Northwesterly line of Lot 29,
Block 33 of said Rancho Burl Buri Map No. ~; thence SouBt~.vesterly along
the Northwesterly line of said Lot 29 and its Northeasterly prolongation
to the most Westerly corner of said Lot 29; thence Northwesterly and
Northeasterly along the Westerly and Northwesterly 1 ine c~ said Block 33
and the Northwesterly line of Block 32 of said Rancho Buri Burl Map No. 3
to the most Northerly corner ofLot 1 of said Block 32; thence in a general
Southerly direction along the Easterly line of said Rancho Buri Buri
Map No. 3 to t.he point of beginning.
AND W~EREAS said resolution of intention was published, and notice of the passage
of said resolution of intention was posted, in the manner andform required by law, reference
being hereby made to the affidavit of Dave Corsiglia an~ the affidavit of Hazel Taverner,
which af~idavits are now on file in the office of tt~ City Clerk of said City;
AND Wt-~RF~S a public hearing wss held at a regular meeting in the City Hall of said
CityLen the ~th day. of April, 19~5, at the hour of 8:00 o'clock P.M.; and wt~reas all protests
made against the closing of said streets have been overruled; and
WHEF~EAS said City Council has determined, and does hereby determine that said
public streets, ways, and easer~nts are unnecessary for present or prospective public street
pu~,pos e s;
NOW, THER~FORE, said City Council hereby orders that said public streets be, and
the same hereby are, vacated and abandoned.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and
adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Frandsco this ~th day of April, 1955,
by the following vote:
