HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 2175-1955RESOLUTION NO. 2175 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO APPROVING AN AGREEMENT TO BE ENTERED INTO BETWEEN SAID CITY AND THE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE CITYOF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO WITH RESPECT TO THE MATTER OF SEWER RENTALS WHEREAS the City of South San Francisco and the Housing Authority of the City of South San Francisco did heretofore, on June 26, 1954, enter into a written agreement providing forthe collection o sewer rentals by said Authority insofar as concerns the three (3) Federal Housing Projects operated by said Authority, namely, Lindenville, Industrial Village, and Palau Village; and WHEREAS as of the 30th day of June, 1955, said Palau Village was discontinued as a housing project and is presently in the process of demolition; and WHEREAS the number of dwelling units within said Lindenville housing project has been reduced in number; and WHEREAS a revised form of agreement has been submitted to the City Council of said City, the same to be entered into between said City and said Authority, and to supersede said agreement of June 26, 1953, which agreement specifies that said Authority shall make collections of said sewer rentals and pay the same to City, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that said agreement, which is dated July 11, 1955, be, and the same hereby is, approved. Further, the Mayor of said City is hereby authorized to execute the same on behalf of said City, and the City Clerk is directed to attest to the same and affix thereto the corporate seal of said City. I hereby certify thlt the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of South San Francisco held this 18th day of July, 1955, by the following vote: AYES, 'COUNCILMEN NOES, ABSENT, Andrew Rocca, Francis Lucchio, Emilio Cortesi, Richard Gamlen None Telford Smith ATTEST: Arthur A.
