HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 2177-1955RESOLUTION NO. 2177 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO DESIGNATING CERTAIN PORTIONS OF BELAIR ROAD WITHIN SAID CITY TO BE A PUBLIC STREET. BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that the area of land in the City of South San Francisco, which is next hereinafter described and which comprises a roadway across public property, be, and the same hereby is, designated as a public street and declared to be a part of the public street system of said City. The area, or roadway, above referred to is particularly described as follows: Commencing at a point which is the most southwesterly corner of that certain parcel of land conveyed by the United States of America acting by and through the General Services Administrator to the City of South San Francisco by quitclaim deed dated November 23, 1949 and recorded on December 9, 1949 in Volume 1758, page 294 of the Official Records of San Mateo County; thence from said point of beginning North 80° 57' East along the southerly line of said parcel of land 800.00 feet; thence North 9° 03' West 56 feet; thence South 80° 57' West 816.49 feet to the northeasterly right of way line of South Airport Boulevard; thence along said north- easterly right of way line of South Airport Boulevard Suuth 25° 27' 30" East 58.38 feet to the point of beginning. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the aforementioned roadway shall hereafter be know as "Belair Rd. I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held this 1st day of August 1955 by the following vote: ' AYES, Councilmen Andrew Rocca, Francis Lucchio, Emilio Cortesi, Richard Gamlen, Telford Smith.
