HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 2189-1955RESOLUTION NO. 2189 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO ESTABLISHING PREVAILING WAGE SCALE. BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco, California, that WHEREAS LOUIS H. GOSS, the Engineer appointed by said City Council for the project of improving ~ission, Road and Chestnut Avenue, has ascertained the general prevailing rate of per diem wages in the locality in which public work is proposed to be performed for work of a similar character to that described in Resolution of Intention No. 2184 adopted on the 1st day of August, 1955; and WHEREAS this City Council has duly considered said scale and finds the same to be correct in all particulars, ~ NOW, THEREFORE, TT IS HEREBY FOUND, DETERMINED, AND ORDERED AS FOLLOWS: ~. That said wage scale as set forth in the specifications is hereby ado'pted as the pr~vailing rate of per diem wages for work of a similar character to that above described in the locality in which such public work is proposed to be performed. 2. That not less than said general prevailing rate of per diem wages shall be paid for any work proposed to be performed under said Resolution of Intention. I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held this 1st day of August, 1955, by the fol~owing vote: AYES, COUNCILMEN I~O~S, " ABSENT, " Andrew Rocca, Francis Lucchio, Emilio Cortesi, Richard Gamlen, Telford Smith.
