HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 2193-1955 RESOLUTION NO. 2193 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO APPOINTING AN ENGINEER FOR THE PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT PROJECT OF INSTALLING STORM DR ON MISSION ROAD FROM THE INTERSECTION OF SAID MISSION ROAD AND EVERGREEN DRIVE TO THE INTERSECTION OF SAID MISSION ROAD AND GRAND AVENUE, AND DIRECTING SAID ENGINEER TO MAKE AN ESTIMATE OF THE COST OF SAID IMSROVEMENT. BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco, California, that LOUIS R. GOSS, Director of Public Works and ex-officio Engineer of the City of South San Francisco be, and he hereby is, appointed as engineer to supervise the excavating and grading work and the constructing of the public improvements specified in Resolution of Intention No. 2192 of said City Council, passes and adopted on the 1st day of August, 1955, and to prepare all engineering documen plans, and specifications therefor. For all engineering services to be performed by said Director of Public Works in connection with said work of public improvement, the City of South San Francisc shall be reimbursed on the b~sis of actual cost to said City, as follows: The cost of engineering services shall be calculated on the basis of the actual time and salaries of the Director of Publi Works, his .assistants, inspectors, and other subordinates, together with any expense directly incu in connection with the work of public improvement, plus twenty-two percent (22%) of the portion of cost attributed to salaries, said twenty-two percent (22%) to cover administrative costs and overh chargeab&e to such engineering services. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said LOUIS H. GOSS shall make and furnish to this City Counc an estimate of the cost and expenses of all the work hereinbefore referred to. I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly adopted by the Cit Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held on the 1st day of August, 195 by th~ following vote: AYES, COUNCILMEN NOES, " ABSENT, " Andrew Rocca, Francis Lucchio, Emilio Cortesi, Richard Gamlen, Telford S2ith.
