HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 2197-1955RESOLUTION NO. 2197 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH FRANCISCO ESTABLISHING PREVAILING WAGE SCALE. BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of'the City of South San Francisco, Calffornia, that WHEREAS LOUIS H. GOSS,.the 'Engineer appointed by said City Council for the project of improving Mission ROad by the installation of storm drains on Mission Road from the intersection of said Niss'ion P~ad and Evergreen Drive to the intersection of said ~ission Road and Grand Avenue, has ascertained the general prevailing rate of per diemwages in the locality in which public work is proposed to be performed for work of a similar character to that described in Resolution of Intention No. 2192 adopted on thd~lst day of August, 1955; and WHEREAS this City Council has duly considered said scale and finds the same to be correct in all particulars, NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY FOUND, DETERMINED, AND ORDERED AS FOLLOWS: 1. That said wage scale as set forth in the specifications is hereby adopted as the prevai rate of per diem wages for work of a similar character to that above described in the locality in which sucb?'pUblic work is proposed to be performed. 2. That not less than said general prevailing rate of per~'::dtem wages shall be paid for any work proposed to be performed under said Resolution of Intention. I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular, smeting thereof held this 1st day of August, 1955, by the following vote: AYES, COUNCILMEN NOES, " ABSENT, " Andrew Rocca, Francis Lucchio, Emilio Cortesi, Richard Ga~len, Telford S~ith.
