A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO
ADOPTING A BriDGET FOR THE PROPOSED EXPENDITURES OF THE ALLOCATION OF
GAS TAX ~ONEYS FROM THE S?A~E OF CALIFORNIA TO SAID CITY FOR THE FISCAL
YEAR 1956, AND APPROVING A MEMORANDUM OF AGREEHENT FOR THE EXPENDITURES OF
SUCH ~ONEYS FOR THE ~AINTENANCE. OF ~AJOR CITY STREETS.
WHEREAS there has this date been presented to the City Counc'i~ of the City of South San
Francisco a memorandu~ of agreement to be entered into with the State of California by said City, in
accordance with a project statementsubmitted by sa~d City for the expenditure of the gas tax
allocation to said City for the fiscal year 1956; and

WHEREAS said City Council is fully familiar with the. contents of said memorandum of agree-
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by said City Council that said project statement be, and it
hereby is, adopted as the budget of proposed eXPenditures of the allocation of gas tax moneys to
said City.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the City Council that the aforementioned memorandum of agreement
be, and the same hereby is, approved and the Mayor is hereby autberized to execute said ~e~orandtua
of agreement on behalf of said City and the City Clerk is directed to attest to the sa~e and affix
theretO the corporate seal of said City, it being expressly understood by said City Council that
said memorandu~ of agreement shall be binding upon the City at such time as it sh~ll be executed by
the authorized officials of the State of California.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was.regularly introduced and adopted by
the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held this 15th day of
August, 1955, by the following vote:
