HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 2208-1955RESOLUTION NO. 2208 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO APPOINTING ENGINEERS FOR THE PROJECT OF IMPROVING SOUTH CANAL STREET FROM LINDEN TO SPRUCE AVENUE AND F~YFAIR AVENUE FROM ITS EASTERLY TERMINATION TO SPRUCE AVENUE, AND DIRECTING SAID ENGINEERS TO PREPARE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND TO MAKE AN ESTIMATE OF THE COST OF SAID IiiPROVEMENT. RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco, California, that WILSEY & HAM, a qualified firm of Civil Engineers, be, and they hereby are, appointed as engineers to supervise the grading and paving work and the construction of the public i~provements on South Canal Street from Linden to Spruce Avenues and Mayfair Avenue from its easterly terminatic to Spruce Avenue, specified in Resolution of Intention No. 2207 of said City Council, passe~ and adopted on the 29th day of August, 1955, and to prepare all engineering documents, plans, and specifications therefor. R~SOLVED, FURTHER, that WlLSEY & HAM, said engineers, shall make and furnish to this City Council an estimate of the cost and expenses of all of the work hereinbefore referred to. ! hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at an adjourned regular meeting held this 29th day of August, 1955 by the following vote: AYES, NOES, Councilmen: Andrew Rocca, Francis Lucchio, Emilio Cortesi, Richard Gamlen, Telford Smith.
