A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO
PROVIDING FOR THE EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN SAID CITY AND THE
SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT WITH RESPECT TO THE USE
OF THE SPRUCE AVENUE SCHOOL GYMNASIUM AND RECREATIONAL FACILITIES.
~HEREAS, the City of South San Francisco, a municipal corporation, desires to make use
of the gymnasium, and recreational facilities of the Spruce Avenue School; and
~HEREAS, it is deemed to be in the best interests of said City and of the citizenry
thereof that said City be permitted to make use of such gymnasium and recreational facilities,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of South San Francisco
does hereby determine that it is advisable to enter into a contract to provide for the use of
the gymnasium and recreational facilities of the Spruce Avenue School by said City, and such
groups and organizatiOns as said City shall authorize until such time as either said City or
said South San Francisco Unified School District shall terminate said contract by giving thirty
(30) days' advance written notice to that effect.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor of said City be, and he hereby is, authorized to
execute said Agreement on behalf of S~d City and the City Clerk of said City is hereby
directed to attest to the same and affix thereto the corporate seal of said City.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by
the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held on the 19th day
of September, 1955, by the following vote:
AYES, COUNCILMEN: Andrew Rocca, Francis Lucchio, ~milio Cortesi, Richard Gamlen, Telford Smith.
NOES, " None
ABSENT, " None
