RESOLUTION NO. 2234
A RESgLUT~ON OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO
AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN SAID CITY AND THE
FATHERS" CLUB OF ALL SOULS' SCHOOL, A PRIVATE CORPORATION, WITH
RESPECT TO THE USE OF THE SPRUCE AVENUE SCHOOL GYMNASIUM AND
RECREATIONAL FACILITIES.
WHEREAS The Fathers' Club of All Souls' School, a private corporation, desires to make use
of the gymnasium and recreational facilities of the Spruce Avenue School, which, although owned
and controlled by South San Francisco Unified School District, a public body~ are made available
for use by City and by such groups and organizations as City shall authorize; and
~IEREAS it is deemed to be in the best interests of City and of the citizenry thereof,
and the members of said Fathers' Club, in particular, that they be permitted to make use of
such gymnasium and recreational facilities,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco
that said Fathers' Club of All Souls' School be, and it is hereby, authorized to use said
gymnasium and recreational facilities of said Spruce Avenue School subject to there being
executed between said City and The Fathers' Club o.f All Souls' School, a proper agreement
with respect to said use~ said agreement to be prepared and submitted by the City Attorney,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor of said City be, and he hereby is, authorized
to execute said agreement on behalf of said City and the City Clerk of said City is hereby
directed to attest thereto and affix thereto the corporate seal of said City.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted
by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held on the 19th
day of September, 1955, by the following vote:
AYES, Councilmen: Andrew Rocca, Francis Lucchio, Emilio Cortesi, Richard Gamlen, Telford Smith
