HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 2242-1955 RESOLUTION NO. 2242 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO ESTABLISHING PREVAILING WAGE SCALE. BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco, California, that WHEREAS WILSEY & HAM, the Engineers appointed by said City Council for the project of improving Airport Boulevard Industrial Tract, have ascertained the general prevailing rate of per diem wage~ in the locality in which public work is proposed to be performed for work of a similar character to that described in Resolution of Intention No. 2237 adopted on the 19th day of September, 1955; and WHEREAS this City Council has duly considered said scale and finds the same to be correct in all particulars, NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY FOUND, DETERMINED, AND ORDERED AS FOLLOWS: 1. That said wage scale as set forth in the specifications is hereby adopted as the prevailing rate of per diem wages for work of a similar character to that above described in the locality in which such public work is proposed to be performed; 2. That not less than said general prevailing rate of per diem wages shall be paid for any work proposed to be performed under said Resolution of Intention. I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of theCity of South San Francisco at a regular'meeting held this 19th day of September, 195~, by the following vote: AYES, COUNCILMEN: Andrew Rocca, Francis Lucchio, Emilio Cortesi, Richard Gamlen, Telford Smith.
