A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO
AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN SAID CITY AND THE
SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO SCAVENGER COMPANY WITH RESPECT TO THE COLLECTION
OF REFUSE, LAWN CLIPPINGS AND SHRUBBERY CUTTINGS IN SAID CITY.
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that said City
enter into an Agreement with the South San Francisco Scavenger Company, a corporation whereby
said City authorizes said South San Francisco Scavenger Company to collect refuse, lawn
clippings, and shrubbery cuttings in said City for a period of three (3) months, commencing
on the 1st day of October, 1955.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor of said City is hereby authorized to execute .said
Agreement on behalf of said City and the City Clerk is hereby directed to attest to the same
and to affix thereto the corporate seal of said City.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by
the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held this 3rd day
of October, 1955, by the following vote:
AYES, Councilmen: Andrew Rocca, Francis Lucchio, Emilio Cortesi, Richard Gamlen, Telford Smith
