A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO
PROVIDING FOR THE EXECUTION OF A CERTAIN LICENSE AGREEMENT WITH THE
SOUTHERN PACIFIC COMPANY, A CORPORATION, WITH RESPECT TO THE ACQUISITION
OF A RIGHT OF WAY FOR THE PURPOSE OF INSTALLING A STORM DRAIN.
WHEREAS it is necessary that the City of South San Francisco obtain permission from the
Southern Pacific Company, a corporation,to install a storm drain under the aforesaid corpor-
ation's right of way so as to prevent damage to city property; and
WHEREAS it is deemed that it will be to the public interest and welfare to establish
and maintain said storm drain,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco
that a license agreement be entered into by said City permitting said City to construct,
maintain, and operate a fifty-four inch (54") storm drain under the right of way of the
Southern Pacific Company, a corporation, in connection with the installation of a storm
drain along Evergreen Avenue in said City.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and the City Clerk of said City be, and they
hereby are, authorized and directed to execute said license agreement on behalf of said City.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by
the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held this 3rd
day of October, 1955, by the following vote:
AYES, COIRiCILMEN: Andrew Rocca, Francis Lucchio, Emilio Cortesi, Richard Gamlen, Telford Smith.
NOES, " None
