A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO
PROVIDING FOR THE EXECUTION OF A CERTAIN LICENSE AGREEMENT WITH THE
WATER DEPARTMENT OF THE CITY AND COUNTY OF SAN FRANCISCO WITH RESPECT
TO THE WIDENING OF CHESTNUT AVENUE.
WHEREAS it is necessary that the City of South San Francisco obtain permission from the Water
Department of the City and County of San Francisco to obtain a right-of-way for the widening of
Chestnut Avenue; and
WHEREAS it is deemed that it will be to the public interest and welfare to widen Chestnut Ave.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that
a license agreement be entered into by said.City permitting said City to ~mprove and widen Chestnut
Avenue over the right-of-way of the City and County of San Francisco.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk of said City be, and they hereby are,
authorized and directed to execute said license agreement on behalf of said City.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the
City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held this 17th day of October,
1955, by the following vote:
AYES, COUNCILMEN: Andrew Rocca, Francis Lucchio, Emilio Cortesi, Richard Gamlen, Telford Smith.
NOES, " None
ABSENT, " None
