HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 2265-1955RESOLUTION NO. 2265 RESOLUTION DIRECTING THE ASSESSMENT TO BE MADE AND SIGNED BY THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC WORKS WHEREAS the City Council of the City of South San Francisco did on the 24th day of October, 1955, pass a resolution ordering certain work and improvements to be made in pursuance of proceedings taken under the "Improvement Act of 1911" and which are described in Resolution of Intention No. 2237, passed on the 19th day of September, 1955, reference to which resolution is hereby expressly made for further particulars; and ~IEREAS said City Council desires that the assessment hereafter to be made in the proceedings shall be made and signed by the Director of Public Works instead of by the Superintendent of Streets of said City,' NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that the assessment hereafter to be made, covering the costs and expenses of said work to be done and improvement to be made, as described in said Resolution of Intention No. 2237 shall be made and signed by the Director of Public Works instead of by the Superintendent of Streets of said City. I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at an adjourned regular meeting thereof held on the 24th day of October, 1955, by the following vote, to wit: AYES, COUNCILMEN: Andrew Rocca, Emilio Cortesi, Richard Gamlen, Telford Smith.
