HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 2269-1955RESOLUTION NO. 2269 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO CONFIRMING A DIVIDED ASSESSMENT WITH RESPECT TO A PORTION OF THE AREA INCLUDED WITHIN THE DISTRICT DEFINED IN RESOLUTION OF INTENTION NO. 1838. WHEREAS, pursuant to. Resolution No. 2262 of the City Council of the City of South San Francisco adopted on the 17th day of October, 1955 notice has been duly given, as prescribed in Section 8730 et seq. of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California, of the intention of said City Council to amend the assessment, with respect to a portion of the area comprising the district defined in Resolution of Intention No. 1838, adopted by said City Council on the 5th day of November, 1952, which portion of said district is now known as "Parcels 7A, 7B, 7C, and 7D, Industrial Acres" and WHEREAS no persons interested appeared, or filed written protests, against said proceedings, or any part thereof, and all persons desiring to be heard were given an opportunity to be heard, and all matters and things pertaining'to said divided assessment were fully heard and considered by said City Council, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by said City Council and said City Council does hereby order: 1. That all protests and objections be, and they hereby are, overruled; 2. That the divided assessment list and divided assessment diagram, as prepared by the Director of Public Works as ex-officio Superintendent of Streets of said City and filed with the City Clerk thereof be, and the same hereby is, approved and confirmed as the assessment for the above-mentioned area. I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held this 7th day of November, 1955 by the following vote: AYES, COUNCILMEN: Andrew Rocca, Francis Lucchio, Emilio Cortesi, Richard Gamlen, Telford Smith.
