A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO
ACCEPTING A DEED FROM SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO LAND AND IMPROVEMENT
COMPANY, A CORPORATION, TO THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO.
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of ~he City of South San Francisco that said City
shall, and hereby does, accept that certain Deed of Dedication, dated the 11th day of November, 1!
whereby SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO LAND AND IMPROVEMENT COMPANY, a co~poration, grants and conveys to sa:
City of South San Francisco that certain parcel of real property situate in the City of South San
Francisco, County of San Mateo, State of.California, and particularly described as follows:
BEGINNING at a point on the westerly line of Linden Avenue in South San Francisco,
California; said point being distant along said westerly line S 15° 33' W 576.09 feet from the
southeasterly corner of that certain one acre tract conveyed by the South San Francisco Land and
Improvement Company, a coproratton, to the Union Ice Company by Deed recorded October 2, 1913 in
Book 228 of Official Records at Page 472, Records of San ~ateo County~ running thence from,said
point of beginning along the said westerly line of Linden Avenue S 15 33' W. 50.00 feet, thence
at right angles N; 74° 27' W 593.00 feet to the easterly line of South ~aple Avenue; N 7in 27' W
503.00 i~ect to the castcrly linc of South ~aplc Avcnuo; thence S 15° 33' W 10.00 feet along said
easterly line of South ~aple Avenue; thence at right angles N 74° 27' W 450.00 feet; thence N
15o 33' E $0.00 feet; thence S 740 27' E 1043.00 feet to the poi~of beginning and containing
1.3005 acres.
This parcel of land containing 1.3005 acres, more or less, is conveyed subject to an
easement 18.00 feet wide and 50.00 feet long, more or less, crossing the above described parcel a
right angles at a point 225.00 feet westerly from the westerly line of Linden Avenue, granted to
the Southern Pacific Railroad Company, a corporation, and its lessee, the Southern Pacific Compan
a corporation, bF~dee~ dated July 9, 1927 and recorded July 18, 1927 in Book 311 of Official Reco:
at Page 48, Records of San Mateo County, California.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be, and he hereby is, directed to cause said
Deed of Dedication, together with a certified copy of this resolution, to be recorded in the offi.
of the County Recorder of the County of San Mateo.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by
the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held on the 21st day of
November, 1955, by the following vote:
