HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 2286-1955RESOLUTION NO. 2286 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH. SAN FRANCISCO ACCEPTING A REVOCABLE PERMIT FROM THE CITY AND COUNTY OF SAN FRANCISCO FOR THE PURPOSE OFERECTING AND MAINTAINING A FIFTY-FOUR-INCH STORY DRAIN ON CERTAIN PROPERTY OF SAID CITY AND COUNTY OF SAN FRANCISCO. WHEREAS the City of South San Francisco has heretofore requested permission from the City and County of San Francisco, a municipal corporation, to erect and maintain a fifty-four (54)-inch storm drain across a portion of the right-of-way of the water department of said latter municipal corporation, for the purpose of carrying away storm waters; and WHEREAS the City and County of San Francisco has offered to the City of South San Franci~ a revocable permit to so construct and maintain siid storm drain; and ~;WHEREAS it is deemed in the best interests of the City of South San Francisco and the people and property owners thereof to accept said revocable permit, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the city of South San Francisco that said revocable permit so offered by said City and County of San Francisco be, and the same hereby is, approved and accepted. In this connection, the City Manager of said City is hereby authorized and directed to execute said revocable permit on behalf of said City. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk of said City be, and he hereby is, instructed to forward to said City and County of San Francisco a certified copy of this resolution, together with two executed copies of said revocable permit. I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held on the 5th day of December, 1955, by the following vote: AYES, COUNCILMEN: Andrew Rocca, Francis Lucchio, Emilio Cortesi, Richard Gamlen and Telford Smith.
