HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 2287-1955RESOLUTION NO. 2287 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO PROVIDING FOR THE SALE OF CERTAIN SURPLUS REAL PROPERTY TO O. D. HAMLIN AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A DEED OF CONVEYANCE. WHEREAS the real property hereinafter particularly described, the title to which is held by the City of South San Francisco, is surplus property and of no benefit or value to said City of South San Francisco insofar as the performance of its municipal functions is concern~dl; and WHEREAS O. D. H~.IN has offered to said city the sum of Three Hundred Dollars ($300.00) for said property, which sum constitutes a reasonable purchase price therefor, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of South San Francisco shall, and hereby does, accept the offer of said O. D. N~LIN and that said real property be conveyed to him upon his payment of the sum of Three Hundred Oollars ($300.00) in lawful money of the United States of America. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor of said City be, and he hereby is, authorized to execute, on behalf of said City, a Grant Deed conveying said property to said O. D. HAMLIN, and the City Clerk is hereby instructed to attest to the same and affix thereto the corporate seal of said City. Further, upon the payment of said sum of Three Hundred Dollars ($300.00) to said City, said City Clerk is hereby instructed to deliver said Deed to said O. D. HAMLIN, together with a certified copy of this resolution. The real property hereinabove referred to consists of all those certain parcels or tracts of land situated in the City of South San Francisco, County of San Mateo, State of California, and particularly described as follows: PARCEL I Beginning at a~point on the Southwesterly line of Camaritas Avenue, said point being the westerly corner of Lot 6, Block 40 as delineated on that certain map designated "Winston Manor No. 3 South San Francisco" which map was recorded September 15, 1952 in Volume 35 of Maps at pages 39 and 40, San Mateo County Records; thence South 19° 19' 50" East 177.90 feet to the west corner of LOt 4; thence North 70° 40' 10" East 90.94 feet to the north corner of Lot 4; thence on an arc to the right with a radial bearing North 46~ 45' 06" East having a radius of 40 feet, a central angle of 1° 24' 16" a distance of 0.98 feet; thence North 41o 50' 39" West 106.52 feet; thence on an arc to the right having a radius of 430 feet, a central angle of 11o 24' 06" a distance of 85.57 feet; thence South 620 51' 40" West 25.25 feet to the point of beginning. PARCEL I I Beginning at a point which bears North 62o 51' 40" East 85.37 feet from the Southwesterly line of Camaritas Avenue, said point being the westerly corner of Lot 6, Block 40 as delineated on that certain map designated "Winston Manor No. 3 South San Francisco" which map was recorded September 15, 1952 in Volume 35 of Maps at pages 39 and 40, San Mateo County Records; thence North 620 51' 40" East 31.070 feet; thence South 27° 08' 20" East 139.37 feet; thence on an arc to the right with a radial bearing of North 9° 29' 42" West having a radius of 15 feet, a central angle of 240 29' 08" a distance of 6.41 feet; thence North 41° 50' 39" West 66.49 fdet, thence on an arc to the right tangent to the preceding course having a radius of 370 feet, a 'central angle of 10o 54' 13" a distance of 70.41 feet to the point of beginning. I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held the 5th day of December 1955, by the following vote: AYES, COUNCILMEN: Andrew Rocca, Francis Lucchio, Emilio Cortesi, Richard Gamlen, Telford Smith. ~OE8~ " None ABSENT, " None ATTEST: grthur A.
