HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 2303-1956RESOLUTIO~ NO. 2303 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO REQUESTING THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF SAID CITY TO RECONSIDER THE MATTER OF TEE ZONING OF THE MAT.?ANTI PROPERTY. BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that there be referred to the Planning Commission of said City, for its consideration and recommendations, the matter of the proper, or appropriate, zoning classification of the hereinafter-described property owned by Peter Mazzanti and Enes Mazzanti, hasbaud and wife. Said property is situate in the City of South San Francisco, County of San Mateo, State of California, and is particularly described as follows: BEGINNING at the most westerly corner of that certain 7.84 acre parcel of land conveyed by Deed by the South San Francisco Land and Improvement C~npany, a corporation, to the City of South San Francisco which was recorded May 2, 1934 iu Book 618 of Official Records at page 478, San Mateo County Records; thence South 15~ 33' West 42.17 feet to an intersection with the Northerly line of the Southern Pacific Right of Way (Valencia Street Branch); thence North 55° 59' 10" West 248.11 feet along said Right of Way; thence North 15° 33' East 530 feet, more or less, to the center line of the Drainage Canal Easement (50 feet wide) as granted by the South San Francisco Land and Improvement Company to the City of South San Francisco in Deed dated May 8, 1935 and recorded February lB, 1936 in Book 674 of Official Records at page 419; thence along said center line S. 59° 39' 57" E. 243.39feet to the Northwesterly line of the above mentioned 7.84 Acre tract; thence along said Northwesterly line S. 15° 33' W. 500 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Planning Commission be, and it hereby is, requested to give particular consideration to the advisability of reclassifying the aforedescribed real property from its present classification of "PCM" (Planned C~ercial-Manufacturing District) to a "R-l" classification (Single Family Residential District) and to include in its report its recommendation in that particular regard.
