HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 2306-1956RESOLUTION NO. 2306 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO ORDERING THE SALE OR TRANSFER OF CERTAIN PROPERTY OWNED BY SAID CITY, TO-WIT, THE ENTIRE BURI-BURI FIRE STATION PROPERTY-(BOTH LAND AND ALL IMPROVEMENTS, INCLUDING STATION BUILDING). WHEREAS, on the 6th day of February 1956, a public hearing was held pursuant to the provisions of Title 4, Division 3, Part 2, Chapter 5, Article 3 of the Government Code of the State of California, at which all persons having any objections to the sale or transfer of the following publicly owned property of the City of South San Francisco, to-wit: The en- tire Buri-Buri Fire Station property (both land and all improvements, including station building), were offered an opportunity to be heard; and WHEREAS no one did appear to object to said proposed sale or transfer, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that said City Council does hereby order that said publicly owned property of said City be sold, transferred, or exchanged for the greatest available consideration and on the best possible terms. In this connection, the City Manager is hereby directed to locate a responsible purchaser for said property, giving due consideration to the sale price and to the terms of sale, and to render a report to the City Council at the earliest possible date showing the results of his endeavors. Said real property to be sold, transferred, or exchanged is particularly described as follows: Tha~ certain real property situate in the City of South San Francisco, County of San Mateo, State of California, described as: Lots i and 2 in Block No. I as shown upon that map entitled "Rancho Burl-Burl South San Francisco", which map was filed in the office of the County Recorder of the County of San Mateo, State of California, on March 22, 1946 and recorded in Book 25 of Maps at pages 28, 29 and 30. I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of South San Francisco this 6th day of February 1956, by the following vote: AYES, COUNCILMEN: NOES, " : ABSENT, " : Andrew Rocca, Francis Lucchio, Emilio Cortesi, Richard Gamlen, Telford Smith.
