A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH
SAN FRANCISCO AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND THE CITY CLERK
TO EXECUTE, ON BEHALF OF SAID CITY, SUPPLEMENTAL
AGREEMENTS FOR THE EXPENDITURE OF GAS TAX ALLOCATION
MONEYS FOR THE MAINTENANCE OF MAJOR CITY STREETS.
WHEREAS Memorandums of Agreement will, more than likely, be presented to the
City of South San Francisco from time to time during the remainder of the current fiscal year, said
Memorandums of Agreement to be entered into with the State of California in accordance with project
statements submitted by said City providing for the expenditure of gas tax moneys allocated to said
~'City ~r the fiscal year 1956; and
WHEREAS the City Council of said City deems it to be advisable and to be in the
best interests of said City if the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute said
Memorandums of Agreement on behalf of said City,
HOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South S~n
Francisco that the Mayor and City Clerk of said City be, and they ~ereby are, authorized to sign and
~xecute for and on behalf of said City all Supplemental or Memorandum Agreements with the State of
"~California providing for the expenditure of the gas tax funds allocated to said City for the fiscal
year ending june 30, 1956, the City Clerk to attest to such Memorandum Agreements and affix thereto
the corporate seal of said City. It is expressly understood by said City Council that said Memorandum
Agreements shall be binding upon the City at such time as they shall be executed by the authorized
officials of the State of California.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a certified copy of this resolution shall be
attached to each and every Memorandum Agreement executed by the Mayor and the City Clerk,
as above outlined.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced
and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting
held this 6th day of February 1956, by the following vote:
