A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
~GUTH SAN FRANCISCO AUTHORIZING THE ~ECUTION
GPA ~'~RITTEN AGREEMENT PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS
OF SECTION 3 OF ORDINANCE NO. 382 OF SAID CITY, ~HICH
AGREEM~T, AMONG OTHER .THINGS, PROVIDES
FOR THE COMPENSATION TO BE PAID TO THE COUNTY OF
SAN MATEO FOR THE COLLECTION OF MUNICIPAL TAXF~S
OF SAID CITY, AS PROVIDED FOR BY SAID ORDINANCE
NO. 382
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that,
persuant to the provisions of Section 3 of Ordinance No. 382 and of Title 5 (Part 2 of Division
1 thereof) of the Government Code of the State of California, said City Council shall enter
into a written agreement with the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo providinE,
among other things, that said Gounty of San Mateo shall, for the performance of the tax collect-
tion functions of said City,~be entitled to compensation as follo;~s:
One percent (1%) of the first Twenty-five Thousand
Dollars ($25,000.00) of municipal taxes collected
for City, plus one-fourth (1/l~) of one percent
(L~) of all sums over and above that amount.
Said agreement shallbe indeterminate in its duration and shall continue in effect without
change until such time as the same shall be modified by mutual agreement between said City
Council and said Board of Supervisors, or until said City Council shall give to said Board of
Supervisors written notice of cancellation, ~s provided by applicable law.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor of said City shall execute said agree-
ment on behalf of said City Council, and he is hereby so authorized. The City Clerk is hereby
directed to attest to said Agreement and to affix thereto the corporate seal of said City. In
Addition, said City Clerk shall transmit a certified copy of this resolution to said Board of
Supervisors, together with a fully executed copy of said Agreement.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and
adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held on the
2Otb day of February 1956, by the following vote:
