A RFSOL.TIO~OF TRE~ C~UNCrL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO
~LIN~ ~ITT T~XES ON RF,,~L PROPERTY ACQUIRED BY SAID CITY AND USED SOLELY
FOR MUNICIPAL PURPOSES.
WHerEAS, on the 2nd day of June, 1954, the City of South San Francisco
acquired for permanent public use as a park and recreational area the real property
hereinafter described, which property is presently being held anduutilized by City for
such pub].ic purposes; and
WHERF~S municipal real property taxes for the fiscal years 1954-1955 and 1955-1956
became a lien upon said real property; and
~MEREAS such real property, being used for park and recreational purposes,
in exempt from taxation by the City of South San Francisco.
NOW, ~{EREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
South San Francisco that the real property taxes levied for the fiscal years 1954-19~
and 1955-1956, together with any and all penalties and costs, upon the hereinafter
described real property, and all taxes to be levied in all subsequent years, by said City,
be, and the sa~ue hereby are, cancelled. Said real property is situated in the City of
South San Francisco, County of San Marco, State of California, and is particularly described
as follows:
Lot 3 in Block 29, and Lots 9 and 10 in Block 35, as designated on the
map entitled "WINSTON MANOR NO. 3 SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO SAN MATEO COUNTY,
CALIFO~{IA", which map was filed in the office of the Recorder of the
County of San Ma~eo, State of California, dn September 15, 1952 in Book 35
of Maps at pages 39 and ~0.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the aforedescribed real property be, and it
hereby is, ordered removed from the City tax rolls.
BE IT ALSO RF~OLVED that the City Clerk of said City be, and he hereby is,
instructed to deliver a certified copy of this ~esolution to the Tax Collector of said City.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced
and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at an
adjourned meeting held on the 21st day of February, 1956, by the following
vote:
