A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF ~{E CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO
REQUESTING THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF ~{E COUNTY OF SAN MATEO TO CANCEL
REAL PROPERTY ACQUIRED BY SAID CITY AND USED SOLELY FOR MUNICIPAL PURPOSES
WHERFAS, on the 2nd day of June, 195A, the City of South San Francisco
acquired for permanent public use as a park and recr~ational area the real property hereinafter
described, which property is presently being held and utilized by said City for such public
purposes; and
%~EREAS San Nateo County and School District real property taxes for the
fiscal years 195&-1955 and 1955-1956 becsme a lien upon said property; and
~EREAS, because such property was acquired for municipal purposes, as
aforesaid, and is now being so used, it is deemed to be in the best interests of the City of
South San Francisco and of the citizens and taxpayers thereof that said real property~taxes,
together with any and all accrued ~enalties and interest, should be cancelled in full,
N~4, TH~EFONE, BEIT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
South San Francisco that the Board of Supervisors of the County of San M~teo be, and it hereOF
is, requested to cancel all real property taxes, to,ether with any and all accrued penalties
and interest, levied against said real property, which is situate in the City of South San Francisco,
County of San Nateo, and is particularly described as follows:
Lot 3 in Block 29, and Lots 9 and 10 in Block 35, as designated on the
map entitled "WINSTON MANOR NO. 3 ~rfH SAN FRANCISCO SAN MATEO COUNTY,
CALIFORNIA", which map was filed in the office of the .Recorder of the
County of San Mateo, State of California, on September 15', 1952 in Book 35
of Maps at pages 39 and &O.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVE~ that said Board of Supervisors be, and it hereby is,
requested to direct the Asse~sorof said County of San Nateo to remove said real property from
the official ta~ and assessment rolls of said County. In this connection, the City Clerk is hereby
instructed to forward to said Board of Supervisors a certified copy of this resolution.
I hereby certify that the foregotnE resolution was regularly introduced
and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at an
adjourned meeting held on the 21st day of February, 1956, by the following
vote:
