A RMSOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO CA~¢ASSING RETURNS' AND DECLARING
RESULTS OF THE GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELMCTION HELD IN
SAID CITY ON APRIL 10, 1956.
~EREAS a general municipal election was held in and throughout the City of South
San Francisco on the lOth day of April, 1956 for the election of three (3) members of the City
Council of said City And the election of the City Clerk and City Treasurer thereof, and for the
~urpose of presenting to the electorate of ssid City six (6) proposition, as specified in Resolution
No. 2321, adopted by the City Council of said City on the 2?th day of February 1956; and
;'~EREAS the City Clerk of said City has duly presented of the City Council of the
City of South San Francisco all the returns of the votes cast at said municipal election; ~nd
WHEREAS said City Council has inspected and examined all said returns,
NOW, THE!~EFOEE, BE IT RFSOLVED by the City Council of said City that said City
Council finds as follows:
That the whole nttmber of votes cast in said City of South San Francisco is
SIX THOUSAND FOUR HUNDRED EIGHTY-EIGHT (6,488).

"Shall the City of South San Francisco incur a bonded indebtednesz in the amount
of $1,200,000 for the acquisition, construction, and completion of a municipal improvement consis-
ting of storm drainage structures including ston, water sewers, catchbasins, culverts, earth and
concrete lined drainage channels, ~nd storm water pumping stations, and the acquisition of lands
and easements necessary or useful therefore, and all acquisitions and improvenents auxiliary
thereto that are necessary or useful in the completion thereof?"

(COVERED DRAINAGE STRUCTURES)
"Shall the City of South San Francisco incur a bonded indebtedness in the amount
of $800,000 over and above the amount stated in Proposition No. 1 for the acquisition, construction,
and completion of a municipal improvement consisting of storm water box culverts and conduits
and covered drainage channels?"
