A RF~SOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO~ ADOPTING A BUDGET FOR THE
PROPOSED EXPF~DITURES OF THE ALLOC^TION OF GAS
T~.X MONEYS FROM THE ST~.TE OF CALIFORNIA TO SAID
CITY FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1957, AND APPROVING A
M~MORANDUM OF AGRED~ENT FOR THE EXPENDITURE OF
SUCH MgNETS FOR THE ~INT~ANCE OF THF MAJOR ~

WHEREAS there has this date been presented to the City Council of South San
Francisco a Memorandum of Agreement to be entered into with the State of California by said
City, in accordance with a project statement submitted by said City for the expenditure of
the gas tax allocation to said City for the fiscal year 1957; and
~{EREAS said City 6ouncil is fully familiar with the contents of said
Memorandum of Agreement,
N~, THEREFORE, BE IT RFSOLVED by the said City Council that. said Project
statement be, and it hereby is, adopted as the budget of proposed expenditures of the alloca-
tion of gas tax moneys to said City.
BE IT FURTHER R~0LVED by the City Council that the aforementioned
Memorandum of Agreement be, and the same hereby is, ~pproved, and the Mayor is hereby aUthorized
to execute said Memorandum of Agreement on behalf of said City and the City Clerk is directed
to attest to the same and affix thereto the corporate seal of said City, it being expressly
understood by said City Council that said Memorandum of A~reement shall be binding upon the
City at such time as it shall be executed by the authorized officials of the State of California.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularlY introduced and
adopted by the City'Co~ucil of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meetinE held this
21st day of May 1956, by the following vote:
