A R~OLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH
SAN FRANCISCO AUTHORIZING THE REDUCTION OF THE AMOUNT
OF ASSESSMENT NO. 6, SOUTH CANAL STREET AND MAYFAIR
AVENUE IMPROVEMFNT DISTRICT
WHEREAS the City Council of the City of South San Francisco did', on the
10th day of October 1955, confirmthe assessment for the South Canal Street and Mayfair Avenue
Assessment District; ~nd
WHEREAS it now appears that a clerical error was'made in fixing the amount
of Assessment No. 6, which asses~ment pertains to Parcel 2A, Map 22, Official Assessment Map
of South San Francisco, said error being caused by the failure to take into consideration
work of improvement that had already been performed by the owner of the lot on which said
assessment was placed; and
W~{EREAS it now appears that the amount of said Assessment should be reduced
by the sum of One Thousand Seven Hundred Fifty-Seven and 70/lOOths Dollars ($1,757,70) for
the work of improvement accomplished directly by the owner of said parcel, as aforesaid,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South
San Francisco that the amount of Assessment No. 6, South Canal Street and Mayfair Avenue
Assessment District~ made and levied against Parcel 2A, Map 22, Official Assessment Map of
South San Francisco, be, and it hereby is, reduced from the sum of Eight Thousand One
Hundred Seventy-Nine and 79.100ths Dollars ($8,179.79) to the sum of Six Thousand Four
Hundred Twenty-Two and 09/lOOths Dollars ($6,A22.09).
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Public Works of said City, as
its ex-officio Superintendent of Streets, be, and he hereby is, ordered to correct the
aforedescribed A~sessment in order to reflect said reduction in amount.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced
and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meetin~ held
this 21st day of May 1956, by the followin~ vote:
