WHERF~S the real property hereinafter described was, on the 27th day'of February
1956, acquired by the City of South San Francisco, the same to be used for municipal park purposes;
and
WHEREAS municipal real property taxes for the fiscal year 1955-1956 became a
lien upon said property; and
WHEREAS such preperty, being used for municipal park purposes, is exempt
taxation by the City ef South San Francisco,
NOW, TH~EFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco that the real property taxes levied for the fiscal year 1955-1956, together with any
and all penalties and costs, upon the hereinafter described real preperty~ and all taxes to be
levied in all subsequent years, by said City, be, and the same hereby are, cancelle~. Said
real property is situate in the City of South San Francisco, ~$unty of Sam Nate~, St~e of Cal-
ifornia, and is particularly described as fellows:
Lot 1 in Block 135 as designated en the certain map entitled "SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO,
SAN MATEO CO. CAL. PLAT NO. 1", whichmap was filed in the office of the
Recorder of the County of San Mateo on March 1, 1892, in Book "B" ef Maps at
Pagee6 and a copy entered in B~ok 2 of Maps at Page 52.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the aforedescribed real property be, and it hereby
is, ordered removed from the City tax rolls.
BE IT ALSO HFSOLVED that the City Clerk of said City be, and he hereby is,
instructed to deliver a certified copy of this resolution to the Tax Collector of said City.
I hereby certify,that the foregoing resolution was regulsrly introduced and
adopted by the City Council of the ~ity of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held en
the 21st day of May 1956, by the following vote:
