A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO
RF~QUESTING T~[E BOARD OF SUPER?JISORS OF THE COUNTY OF SAN MATEO TO
CANCEL RE4L PROPERTY TA)[ES ASSESSFD AGAINST CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
ACQUIRED BY SAID CITY AND USED SOLELY FOR MUNICIPALLPURPOSF~
WHEREAS, on the 27th day cf February1956, the city of South San Francisco
acquired for permanent public use as a park and recreational area the real property hereinafter
described, which property is presently being held by said city for such public purposes; and
~EAS, because such property was acquired for municipal purposes, as
aforesaid, and is to be so used, it is deemed to be in the best interests of the City of
South San Francisco and of the citiz~as and taxpayers.thereof that all real property taxes,
together with any and all accrued penalties and interest, should be cancelled in ~lll,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVE9 b~'~h~ City Council cf the City of ~euth
San Francisco that the Beard of Supervisors of the County ef San Mateo be, and it hereby is,
requested to cancel all real property taxes, together with any and all accrued penalties and
interest, levied against said real property, which is situate in the City ef South San Francisco,
County of San Mateo, State of California, and is particularly described as follews:

PLAT NO. 1", which map was filed in the office of
the Recorder ef the County of San Marco en March 1,
185~, in Beck "B" ef Maps at Page 6 and a copy entered
in ~ek 2 of Maps at Page 52.
BE IT FURTI{~P. RTSOLVED that said B~ard of Supervisors be, and it hereby is,
requested to direct the Assessow of said County of San Mateo to remove said real ~perty frem
the official tax and assessment rc~ls ef said County. In this ce~ection, the ~ty~te~k~is
hereby instructed to forward to said Beard ef Supervisors a certified copy of this resolution.
I hereby certify ~that the foregoing resolution w&a regularly introduced and
adopted by the City Ceuncil~of the City of South San ~rancisce at a regular meeting held on the
21st day of May 1956, by the following vote:
