A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCILCOF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO
CORRECTING CERTAIN CLERICAL ~ROHS IN THE ASSESSMENT ROLL AS ADOPTED
BY SAID CITY COUNCIL FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1955-1956.
~{ERK~S certain clerical errors have appeared with respect to the assessment
rollas approved and adopted by the City Council for the fiscal year 1955-1956; and
'~EV/EAS such errors should be corrected by the making of certain adjustments
to said assessment roll,
NUW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco that the assessment roll as heretofore adopted by said City for the fiscal year 1955-
1956 be corrected as follows:
1. With respect to Bill No. 5&69 (Mary Bellazzi, 377 Baden Avenue, South San
Francisco): Through error, there was an assessment for personal property taxes in the amount
of $3.13, whereas no personal property is o.~ned by said taxpayer. Because such personal property
taxes have already been paid, a refund is hereby ordered to be paid to said taxpayer in the
amount of $3.13.
2. With respect te Bill No. 527& (Antonio Antoniazzi, &67 Grand Avenue,
South San Francisco): Through error, there was an assessment for personal property taxes in
the amount of $3.52, ,~hereas no personal property is owned by said taxpayer. Because such
personal property taxes have already been paid, a refund is hereby ordered to be paid to said
taxpayer in the amount of $3.52.
3. With respect to Bill No. 5~65 (Yolanda Mahoney, 306 Second Lane, South
San Francisco): Through error, there was an assessment for personal property taxes in the
amount of $2.19, ,~hereas no personal property is owned by said taxpayer. Because personal
property taxes have already been paid, a refund is hereby ordered te be paid to said taxpayer
in the amount of $2.19.
~. ~ith respect to Bill Ne. 7105 (John P. and Bertha Foley, 289 Ferndale
Avenue, Oouth San Francisco): Throu~ an oversight, ne allowance was made for the veteran's
exemption to which the taxpayers in said bill designated are entitled. As a result of such
oversight or clerical er-or, the taxpayers were assessed for an overcharge in taxes in the
amount ef $15.65. Because said $15.65 has heretofore been paid, a refund thereof to said
taxpayers is hereby ordered.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk of said City, asthe ex-officio
Assessor thereof, is hereby instructed to make the above-designated corrections te the official
Assessment Roll for the fiscal year 1955~1956, and said City Clerk is further instructed to pay
over te the persons entitled thereto all refunds as indicated.
