A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO PROVIDING THAT SAID CITY SHALL
RD~UEST JOINT HIGHWAY DISTRICT NO. 10 OF THE STATE
OF CALIFOPJ~IA, OR ITS SUCCFSSOR, TO CONTRIBUTE ONLY
THE ACTUAL COST OF CONSTRUCTION AND CONSTRUCTION
ENGINEERING FOR THE R~URFACING OF HICKEY BOULEVARD
BE~JEEN JUNIPERO SERRA BOULEVARD A~D EL CAMINO REAL
IN SAID CITY.
'~EREAS Joint Highway District No. 10 and the City of South San Francisco have
entered into a cooperative a~reement providing for the resurfacing of Hickey Boulevard between
Junipero Se~ra Boulevard and E1 Camino Real in said City; and
WHEREAS said Joint Highway District No. 10 has agreed to contribute the cost
of construction and construction engineering of said resurfacing project up to ~ maximum limit
of Fifteen Thousand Dollars ($15,0OO.00),
NO~, TH~L~ORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco that said City shall request Joint Highway District No. lO, or its successor, to contribute
only the actual cost of construction and construction engineering for the resurfactn~ of Hickey
Boulevard between Junipero Serra Boulewrd and E1 C~ino Re~l in said City. S~id District's cost
will be reduced accordingly in the event that such cost of construction and construction engineerin~
does not equal the sum of Fifteen Thousand Dollars ($15,000.00).
BE IT FURTHER R~OLVED that the City Clerk of said City be, and be hereby is,
instructed to forward a certified copy of this resolution to the Boar~ of Directors .of Joint
Highway District No. l0 of the State of California.

sdopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held this
18th day of June 1956, by the following vote:
