A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SOUTH SAN FRAi~CISCO ESTABLISHING PLAN LINES FOR
THE REROUTING OF A PORTION CF SOUTH SPRUCE AVENUE,
A PUBLIC STREET LYING ~THIN SAID CITY.
i'[HEREAS there is presently on file with the City Clerk of the City of
South San Francisco a map bearing the date of March 8, 1956, and revised on June 18, 1956,
whereon there are definedplan lines for the rerouting of a portion of South Spruce Avenue,
a public street lying within said City; and
I~tEREAS said map was prepared under the supervision of the Director of
Public Works, and whereas the same has been heretofore approved by the Planning Commission
of said City; and
WHiiREAS it is deemed to be in the best interests of said City and of the
people residing therein and the property owners thereof that said portion of South Spruce
Avenue be rerouted in accordance with the above-mentioned plan lines,
NO?~, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by said City Council that said map, and
the plan lines thereon indicated, be, and the same hereby are, a~proved and accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Building Inspector of said City be, and
he hereby is, instructed to withhold the issuance of any building permit which, if issued,
would provide for the erection or construction of any building or structure which would in
any way encroach upon, or interfere with, the area indicated on said map for the relocation
of a portion of said South Spruce Avenue. So that said Building Inspector may be informed
of the action hereby taken, the City Clerk shall, and he is hereby instructed to, forward
a certified copy of this resolution to said Ouilding Inspector.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was
regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council
of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting
held this 2nd day of July 1956, by the following vote:
