RESOLWTION NO. 2400
RESOLUTION APPOINTING ENGINEERS
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco, California,that
~EREAS, the City Council of said City has received a petition signed by the owner of certain
property described in said petition,,requesting that the City Council undertake proceedings pursuant to the
Municipal Improvement Act of 1913 and issue bonds under the provisions of the Improvement Act of 1911 for the
public improvements more particularly set forth in said petition and assess the cost of said improvements,
together with incidental expenses thereof upon the property described in said petition; and
I~MEREAS, the City Council of said City proposes to adopt its resolution of Intention expressing
its intention to undertake proceedings for the construction of public improvements in said City, as requested
by said petition; and
~MEREAS, the public interest and general welfare will be served by appointing and employing
engineers for the preparation and conduct of said proceedings;

RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco, California,that

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDt~ED:
1. That Wilsey and Ham, Burlingame, California, be,and they are hereby, appointed as Engineers
of Work, and employed to do and perform all engineering work necessary in and for said proceedings, including
all preliminary surveying, preparation of plans, profiles, specifications, estimate of costs , diagram,
assessment, setting grade stakes and supervision of work; that compensation be, a~,~t~ hereby, fixed at a
rleasona~le engineering fee for all of said engineering, to be assessed as an incidental expense of said
proceedings.
2. That the City Engineer of said City be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to examine
and approve said engineering documents, and to accept said work when done to his satisfaction, and that the
actual cost thereof shall be assessed upon said district am an incidental expense of said proceeding.
3. That the fees provided to be paid herein be paid from said assessments to be levied and bonds
to be issued, and not otherwise.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly adopted and passed ~ the
City Council of the City of South San Francisco, California, at a regular meeting thereof held
on the 27th day of August, 1956, by the following vote of the members thereof:
AYES: Councilmen G. J. Rozzi, Andrew Rocca, Emilio Cortesi, Francis Lucchio and Leo Ryan
