AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF A DEED QUITCLAIMING
THE INTEREST OF TEE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO
IN A PORTION OF AN EASEMENT FOR A SEWER MAIN
WHEREAS, by a certain instrument dated August 13, 1954, recorded August 20, 1954, in ~olume 26~6
of Official Records of the County of San Mateo, at page 407, South San Francisco Land and Improvement Company,
a corporation, granted the City of South San Francisco an easement for a sewer main over a certain parcel of land
owned by said corporation and described in said instrument as "Parcel II"; and
WHE~ the~escription of said easement is erroneaus, in that it fails to close, and the sewer
main installed by the City purportedly within said easement is not properly located therein; and
WHERFA£ the interest of South San Francisco Land and Improvement Company in said Parcel II and
surrounding land has been conveyed to and is now held by Utah Construction Company, a Utah corporation, Edw. T.
Haas and R. M. Haynie, as tenants in common, which corporation and persons have filed with the Council of the City
a final map subdividing a portion of said lands, including all of said Parcel II; and
WHEREAS said subdividers have on said map, the same having been approved by the Council on August
27, 1956, dedicated to the City au easement across said lands for a sewer main, which dedicated easement correctly
describes the courses and bearings of the existing sewer main;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO as follows:
1. That the~City quitclaim to said subdividers the easement over said Parcel II that was
~granted the City by South San Francisco Land and Improvement Company under the aforesaid instru-
ment.
2. That the Mayor of the City be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to make and
sign, and the City Clerk to attest, as the act and deed of the Council of the City of South San
Francisco, a quitclaim deed in the form hereunto annexed, which form is hereby approved and by
reference made apart hereof.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly intro-
duced and adopted by the Council of the City of South San Francisco on the llth day of September
1956, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen G. J. Rozzi, Andrew Rocca, Emilio Cortesi, Francis Lucchio and Leo J. Ryan
NOES: None
ABSENT: None

QUITCLAIM
CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, a municipal corporation and political subdivisi°n of the State of
California (hereinafter referred to as "City"), hereby releases, remises, and forever'quitclaims unto UTAH
CONSTRUCTION COMPANY, a Utah corporation, EDW. T. HAAS and R. M. HAYNIE, as tenants in common, all its right,
title, eatate, and interest in and to that certain parcel of real property designated and described as "Parcel II"
in that certain instrument dated August 13, 1954 entered into by and between South San Francisco Land and Improve-
ment Company, a~corporation, and said City, which said instr~ent was recorded on August 20, 1954 in Volume 2636
of Official Records of the County of San Mateo, State of California, at Page 407.

county and state, residing therein, duly commissioned and sworn, personally appeared G. J. ROZZI and ARTHUR A.
RODONDI, known to me to be the Mayor and Clerk, respectively, of CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, the municipal
corporation described in and that executed the within instrument, and also known to me to be the persons who
executed it on behalf of the said municipal corporation therein named, and they acknowledged to metthat such
municipal corporation executed the same pursuant to Resolution No. 2415 adopted by the Council of the said City
of South San Francisco on the llth day of September 1956.
