A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO COMMENDING THE TEAM,
COACHES AND STAFF FOR WINNING THE NPAL CO-
CHAMPIONSHIP OF 1956 AND AUTHORIZING ISSUANCE
OF INDIVIDUAL CERTIFICATES OF RECOGNITION.
WHERF~, the TEAM, COACHES and STAFF of the SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO WARRIORS, have brought
prestige and honor to this community by reason of their winning the NPAL CO-CHAMPIONSHIP of 1956,
WHEREAS, the City Council, as the official representatives of this community, desires
to publicly recognize this achievement and to have placed in our public records the names of the team,
coaches and staff,
WHEREAS, the City Council does further desire to issue individual certificates of
recognition to the team, coaches and staff,
NOW TREREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco
that said City Council does hereby publicly commend the TEAM, CO~EHES and STAFF of the SOUTH SAN
FRANCISCO WARRIORS for winning the NPAL CO-CHAMPIONSIIIP of 1956.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that in recognition of said achievement, the names of the
TEAM, COACHES and STAFF be set out in this resolution and filed with the official records of the City
and ~urther that individual certificates of recognition be issued to:
