A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO AUTHORIZING
THE EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN SAID CITY AND THE UTAH
CONSTRUCTION COMPANY, A UTAH CORPORATION, WITH RESPECT TO DREDGING
FILL FROM BORROW AREA LOCATED ON SAN BRUNO SHOAL
WHEREAS, the City of South San Francisco and the Utah Construction Company, a Utah Corp-
oration, desire to enter into a contract with respect to exploring for, dredging, extracting and
removing from Borrow Area located on San Bruno Shoal sand and Other fill material.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council does hereby declare its willingness
to enter into such an agreement with the Utah Construction Company, a Utah Corporation, in the
form submitted to the CityCouncil, the purpose of the agreement being to permit removal of sand
and fill material from said Borrow Area, and cause use of fifty percent (50%) of said fill
within corporate limits of City and provide for filling of a certain roadway area near the City
Beach and further provide for royalties for removal of sand and fill material from the corporate
limits of City.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the. Mayor of said City is hereby authorized to execute
such agreement on behalf of said City of South San Francisco and the City Clerk is instructed to
affix thereto the corporate seal of the City.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and adopted
by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held on
the 7th day of January, 1957, by the following vote:
Ayes, Councilmen G. J. Rozzi, Andrew Rocca, Emilio Cortesi, Francis Lucchio
and Leo J. Ryan
