HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 2447-1957RESOLUTION NO. 2447 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCILOF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN SAID CITY AND THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS, DIVISION OF HIGHWAYS, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, WITH RESPECT TO INSTALLATION OF TRAFFIC CONTROL SIGNAL SYSTEM AND HIGHWAY LIGHTING AT CAMARITAS AND CHESTNUT AVENUE WHEREAS, the City of South San Francisco and the State of California, Department of Public Works, Division of Highways, desire to enter into a contract with respect to installation of traffic control signal system and highway lighting at Camaritas and Chestnut Avenue. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council does hereby declare its will- ingness to enter into such an agreement with the State of California, Department of Public Works, Division of Highways, in the form submitted to the City Council, the purpose of the agreement being to provide for installation of a traffic signal system and setting a method for payment of costs of said installation. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor of said City is.hereby authorized to execute such agreement on behalf of said City of South San Francisco and the City Clerk is instructed to affix thereto the corporate seal of the City. I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held on the 7th day of January, 1957, by the following vote: AYES, Councilmen G. J. Rozzi, Andrew Rocca, Emilio Cortesi, Francis Lucchio and Leo J. Ryan NOES, None ABSENT, None ATTEST: Arthur A. Rodondi City Clerk
