A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH
SAN FRANCISCO CORMENDING ELIZABETH OTTENFIELD FOR HER
SERVICES TO THE CITY AND AUTHORIZING ISSUANCE TO HER
OF A CERTIFICATE OF RECOGNITION
WHEREAS, faithful and capable employees enable municipal and other govern-
mental agencies to serve the public well; and,
WHEREAS, the City of South San Francisco, a municipal corporation, has been
2ortunate in having the faithful and capable services of ELIZABETH OTTENFIELD for twenty-
nine (29) years, during which period she has performed the duties of TAX COLLECTOR,
DEPUTY CITY CLERK, CLERK OF THE PERSONNEL BOARD and in emergencies served as CITY CLERK;
and,
W~EREAS, her devotion to duty and the quality of her services have been of
great benefit to the City and its residents, and because of this the City desires to
commend her and issue to her a Certificate of Recognition,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of South San Francisco does
hereby commend ELIZABETH OTTENFIELD for her faithful and capable services to the City
of South San Francisco and issue to her hereby a Certificate of Recognition.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced
and'adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a
regular meeting held on the 21st day of January 1957, by the following
vote:

Councilmen G. J, RoZzi, Andrew Rocca, Emilio Cortesi,
Francis Lucchio and Leo J. Ryan
