A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO
INSTRUCTING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC WORKS AS EX-OFFICIO SUPERINTENDENT
OF STREETS OF SAID CITY TO PREPARE AND FILE WITH THE CITY CLERK AN
AMENDED, OR DIVIDED, A~SESS~ENT FOR A PORTION OF THE SPECIAL ASSESSMENT
DISTRICT KNOWN AS "SOUTH CANAL STREET AND MAYFAIR AVENUE IMPROVEMENT
DISTRICT", THE SPECIAL ASSESSMENT PROCEEDINGS FOR WHICH WERE CONDUCTED
PURSUANT TO RESOLUTION OF INTENTION NO. 2207
WHEREAS Parcel Five (5), being a portion of the area comprising the SOUTH CANAL
STREET AND MAYFAIR AVENUE IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT has, subsequent to the assessment becoming
a lien upon the lands comprising the said assessment district, been divided into two (2)
parcels, rendering it necessary to segregate and apportion the unpaid installments of the
original assessment in accordance with the benefits to the two (2) parcels of land now
comprising said Parcel Five (5); and
WHEREAS there is presently owing and unpaid upon the. assessment liens against
said Parcel Five (5) the total sum of Thirteen Thousand Four Hundred Thirty-one and 17/100
Dollars ($13,431.17) as principal,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco that, pursuant to the provisions of Section 8730, et seq., of the Streets and
Highways Code of the State of California, the Director of Public Works as ex-officio
Superintendent of Streets of said City be, and he hereby is, instructed to make and prepare
a report and an amended, or divided,.assessment of the original area of land affected by
the aforementioned dividing of said Parcel Five (5), together with a map or plat showing
the division of said area. Further, upon the filing of a report and amended, or divided,
assessment, by the Director of Public Works, the City Clerk of said City shall fix a time
and place for a hearing upon the amended, or divided, assessment and shall give notice of
the hearing by publication, as provided by law.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and
adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular
meeting held this 21st day of January 1957, by the following vote:
