HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 2456-1957RESOLUTION NO. 2456 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO EXPRESSING APPRECIATION TO AND COMMENDING THOSE WHO PARTICIPATED IN THE MARCH OF MOTHERS PHASE OF THE MARCH OF DIMES FOR 1957 WHEREAS, the MARCH OF MOTHERS phase of the MARCH OF DIMES for 1957 has added to the fight against infantile paralysis, and WHEREAS, the volunteer efforts of those who participated has fulfilled our obli- gation as a community in this great undertaking, and WHEREAS, the City Council desires to publicly express appreciation to and commend those who participated. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of South San Francisco does hereby, on behalf of the City of South San Francisco, publicly express its appreciation to and commend those who participated in the MARCH OF MOTHERS phase of the MARCH OF DIMES~for 1957. I hereby certify that the foregoing~resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held this 4th day of February 1957, by the following vote: Ayes, Noes, Absent Councilmen G.
