HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 2458-1957RESOLIYrION NO. 2458 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO CONFIRMING A DIVIDED ASSESSMENT WITH RESPECT TO A PORTION OF THE AREA INCLUDED WITHIN THE DISTRICT DEFINED IN RESOLUTION OF INTENTION NO. 2207 WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 2452 of the City COuncil of the City of South San Francisco adopted on the 21st day of January 1957, there has been duly given, as prescribed in Section 8730, et seq., of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California, notice of the intention of said City Council to amend the assessment, with respect to a portion of the area comprising the district defined in Resolution of Intention No. 2207t adopted by said City Council on the 29th day of August 1955, which p o rtion of said district is now known as "SOUTH CANAL STREET AND MAYFAIR AVENUE Il/PROVE- MENT DISTRICT'; and WHEREAS, no persons interested appeared, or filed written protests, against said proceedings, or any part thereof, and all persons desiring to be heard were given an opportunity to be heard, and all matters and things pertaining to said divided assess- ment were fully heard and considered by said City Council, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by said City Council, and said City Council does 'hereby order, as follows: 1. That all protests and objections be, and they hereby are, overruled; 2. That the divided assessment list and divided assessment diagram, as prepared by the Director of Public Works as ex-officiO Superintendent of Streets of said City and filed with the City Clerk thereof, be, and the same hereby is, approved and con- firmed as the assessment for the above-mentioned area; and 3. The City Clerk shall forward certified copies of this resolution to the City Auditor, City Treasurer, and County Assessor as ex-officio Assessor for the City of South San Francisco. I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held this 18th day of February 1957, by the following vote: AYES, NOES, None ABSENT, None Councilmen G. J. Rozzi, Andrew Rocca, E~ilio Cortesi, Francis Lucchio and Leo J. Ryan City Clerk
