HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 2460-1957'RESOLIYrION NO. 2460 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO AMEND ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 353, SO AS TO REZONE PARCEL 7A AND PARCEL 8, ZONE E, TO PCM AND SETTING THE REQUIRED PUBLIC HEARING WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of South San Francisco, having complied with the required procedures, after giving notice required by law, determined that the property known as Parcel 7a and Parcel 8, Zone E, should be rezoned PCM; and, therefore, Ordinance No. 353, Section 2.2 thereof should be amended to so provide and state, said Planning Commission having by Resolution No. 683 approved and recommended said change in zoning, and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of South San Francisco, having considered the said rezoning and having determined that the public interest and general welfare require such an amendment and that such an amendment will not be detrimental to the certain area, but on the contrary, will further the best interest of the City of South San Francisco, and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of South San Francisco does hereby declare its intention to amend Section 2.2 of the Zoning Ordinance of the City of South San Francisco, so that the property known as Parcel 7a and Parcel 8, Zone E, acreage may be zoned PCM. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk give and publish notice of hearing as required by law. I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by ~he City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held this 18th day of February, 1957, by the following vote: AYES, NOES, ABSENT, Councilmen G.
