HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 2465-1957RESOLUTION NO. 2465 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO ABANDONING EASEMENT WHEREAS, a grant of easement dated the 1st day of November, 1956, was obtained by the City from Herbert N. Hendrix and Elizabeth J. Hendrix (Resolution No. 2427) to assist the South San Francisco Unified School District in providing a pathway between Brentwood Area and Avalon School Area, and WHEREAS, the South San Francisco Unified School District desires to acquire said easement, so as to meet its requirements for expenditures of monies for improvement of said pathway, and WHEREAS, said easement has not been used for the purpose for which it was dedicated and is now unnecessary for present and prospective public use by said City, and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of South San Francisco having not used said easement and determining that said easement is unnecessary for present or prospective use by said City, does hereby abandon said easement, and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the required documents be recorded by the City Clerk to clear the Grantors' property of the easement I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held on the 4th day of March, 1957, by the following vote: AYES: Councilmen G. J. Rozzi, Andrew Rocca, Emilio Cortesi, Francis Lucchio and Leo J. Ryan NOES: None ABSENT: None ATTEST: Arthur A. Rodondi City Clerk
