HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 2468-1957RESOLUTION NO. 2468 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN SAID CITY AND THE SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO V.F.W. 1mOST 4103 WITH RESPECT TO THE SALE AND REMOVAL OF A BUILDING WHEREAS, the City of South San Francisco and the South San Francisco V.F.W. Post 4103 desire to enter ~to a contract with respect to sale, transfer and use of a building which is for the commOn benefit of said City. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council does hereby declare its will- ingness to enter into such an agreement with the South San Francisco V.F.W. Post 4103 in the form submitted to the City Council, the purpose of the agreement being to transfer the City's interest in said building to the Post, relieve City of the expense of clearing said building from its present site, and promote common benefit of the City. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor of said City is hereby authorized to execute such agreement on behalf of said City of South San Francisco and the City Clerk is instructed to affix thereto the corporate seal of the City. I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held on the 4th day of March, 1957, by the following vote: AYES: Councilmen G. J. Rozzi, Andrew Rocca, Emilio Cortesi, Francis Lucchio and Leo J. Ryan NOES: None ABSENT: None ATTEST: Arthur A. Rodondi City Clerk
